I got a degree in Foreign Languages and Literatures at Ca' Foscari University in Venice and I'm passionate about languages, literature, and
cinema. In more recent years my interests have expanded to include politics and
geopolitics, with a particular focus on Russia and the former USSR countries.

From 1996 to 2008 I directed a small publishing house specializing in history and
military history, combining my role as an editor with that of a translator.
From 2005 to 2015 I was part of a network of translators for linguistic
diversity, where I coordinated the Italian section, and I have consistently
translated from Russian, English, Spanish, and French.

Since 2010 I have collaborated with the Cineteca di Bologna,
translating from English and French for the catalog of the "Il cinema
ritrovato" festival. I've also translated Elia Kazan's autobiography and
studies on Keaton and Chaplin, among other projects. My areas of specialization
include therefore film history and the restoration of film reels.

In recent years I have worked as an editor and translator
for the motorcycle magazine "Ferro" and for the Italian version of
the cycling magazine "Cycling." I've also served as an editor for the
Maestri di Giardino publishing house and translated "Mezzo giardiniere,"
by Clark Anthony Lawrence.

Additionally, I translate documentaries for ARTE on various
subjects, as well as popular science and medical articles.

In my free time, I am writing a history of Soviet rock.

Laureata all'Università di Ca' Foscari a Venezia in Lingue e Letterature straniere, appassionata di lingue, letteratura e cinema, negli ultimi anni ho allargato il campo di interesse alla politica e alla geopolitica, con particolare attenzione per la Russia e i paesi dell'ex URSS. Dal 1996 al 2008 ho diretto una casa editrice specializzata in storia e storia militare, abbinando al classico lavoro editoriale quello di traduttrice.
Dal 2005 al 2015 ho fatto parte di una rete di traduttori per la diversità linguistica, per la quale ho coordinato la sezione italiana, e traduco assiduamente dal russo, dall'inglese, dallo spagnolo e dal francese.
