Source text - Portuguese O presente projeto trata da importância da implantação e manutenção da sinalização nos espaços de atividade turística em áreas naturais. O projeto é estruturado na área do Parque Metropolitano Armando de Holanda Cavalcanti (PMAHC), no Cabo de Santo Agostinho, Pernambuco, e tem como objetivo geral propor um modelo de sinalização para as trilhas do referido Parque. Este projeto foi realizado a partir de uma pesquisa quali-quantitativa baseada em análises in loco, por meio de visita técnica e dados estatísticos provenientes de questionários aplicados junto aos trilheiros, e buscou compreender as especificidades e a atual situação da sinalização do local. Dessa forma, será apresentado uma proposta de sinalização elaborada conforme as especificidades das sete trilhas mapeadas que compõem o Parque, além do cronograma, orçamento, fonte de recursos e requisitos técnicos e legais necessários para sua realização. Em síntese, a implementação deste projeto torna-se viável pois busca promover uma movimentação turística mais fluida e segura por parte dos visitantes nas trilhas do PMAHC, além de possibilitar o aprimoramento do próprio Parque enquanto atrativo turístico da região.

Translation - English ABSTRACT
This project addresses the significance of signaling implementation and maintenance in tourism activity zones settled in natural environments. The project is conducted at the Armando de Holanda Cavalcanti Metropolitan Park (PMAHC) in Cabo de Santo Agostinho, Pernambuco, with the primary goal of proposing a signaling system for
the Park's trails. The study was conducted through a mixed method research based on statistical data from questionnaires filled out by hikers and in loco observations, with the intention of understanding the characteristics and current condition of local signaling. In this way, a signaling strategy will be presented, based on the peculiarities of the Park's seven mapped walking trails, as well as the project's schedule, total budget, resources supplier, and scientific and regulatory criteria. In summary, the execution of this project becomes feasible as it would encourage a smoother and safe tourist flow of visitors along the PMAHC paths, as well as allowing the Park itself to improve as a tourist destination in the region.
