I'm a native French translator with two fields of specialization: science and international relations/institutions. In both fields, I'm very thorough and meticulous. Thanks to my higher-than-average mastery of the French language (I also have a master's degree in French) and my career in press (I still work as a freelance editor and proofreader), my texts are grammatically and typographically impeccable. I always provide not only an accurate translation, but a well-written and easy-to-read French text. I work on SDL Trados Studio 2019.
SCIENCE (9-year experience) Thanks to
my academic background (as a former biology/geology teacher, with a master's
degree in Science), I have developed an activity as a science translator. My
scientific knowledge makes it very easy for me to grasp technical notions.
INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS (13-year experience) What gave
me a particular expertise in the field, at first, was my 5-year experience as a
journalist and reporter in North Africa. I now translate for several NGOs and
international agencies (see HRW's recommendation below). PS: My pdf
resume (including picture and personal date) has been stolen by scammers, who
sent it around under the forged name "Rose Deback" (see the fake CV
below). Please don't associate my work to any unpleasant encounter you may
have had with them!
