Titulaire d'un diplôme en traduction et interprétation à l'Isti de Bruxelles, je suis un traducteur freelance expérimenté. Je maîtrise parfaitement l'italien, ma langue maternelle : je suis né et ai vécu à Rome jusque mes 23 ans et j'ai étudié Langues et Communication Internationale à l'Università Roma Tre. J'écris des nouvelles, quand j'ai le temps, et je suis un lecteur assidu, j'adore le genre romanesque, en particulier les classiques français.
Je traduis depuis plusieurs années du français vers l'italien, j'ai fait mes études ici à Bruxelles et je vis avec ma compagne et ma petite fille, qui sont francophones toutes les deux ; dès lors ma langue forte est le français, dont je me suis imprégné ces dernières années. En effet, je baigne dans la culture francophone ce qui me permet d'acquérir des compétences linguistiques dans les domaines les plus variés.

Je traduis également de l'espagnol et de l'anglais.

My name is Alessandro, I was born in Rome and I am a native Italian freelance. I have a bachelor's degree in translation and interpretation at ISTI, Brussels, where I am living, and I studied languages and communication at Roma Tre University, Rome.

I am an experienced translator from English, French and Spanish into Italian. During my life I travelled a lot, lived in different countries, worked in many different companies and areas, and knew thousands of people from different cultures, so that I have developed a strong intercultural background.
I learned how to play with words, and how to find the right-one at the right moment. As I have been working in different areas, I have acquired specific knowledge in Finance/Accountancy/Economy, Tourism, IT, Marketing, Medical and other fields. Besides, I have plenty of interests, in particular I am an untiring reader.

I chose my way and I have started working through the language, for the language, and not only with languages. Today I love my job and, when I am working, I go all out for a perfect result as my work requires that I set very high standards for myself.

Finally, the knowledge of my native language, and its registers and styles, is essential for me, because it reflects my primary identity. So, even if I have a wide openness to other cultures, the analysis and the thirst of knowledge regarding my identity/language is never ending.
