I am an ATA-certified, German>English translator who graduated from Kent State University with an M.A. in Translation studies (emphasis: German) in May of 2016. I've been speaking German for the past 10 years, have spent time in Germany, and received a B.A. in German with a specialty in German Linguistics. I currently work as a full-time translator. I have spoken Spanish for the past 20 years and have been formally educated in both German and Spanish language, grammar, and culture.

Much of my translation experience is in the insurance industry, translating invoices, receipts, medical claims, surgery reports, and other medical documents into English. I also have extensive experience in general translation, including correspondence, immigration paperwork, magazine and journal articles, and various types of marketing texts including websites and advertisements.
