Source text - English - Supplier: the bidder, the Supplier of goods or the performer of services – whether an individual or sole proprietorship, including crafts persons, a company, a cooperative society or an association of business persons – qualified pursuant to these Rules to participate in the computerized procurement procedure through the authorization process. In the case of the sale of goods, the “Supplier” means the purchaser.
- Parties: XXXX and Supplier referred to collectively (the "Party” refers to the singular);
- Temporary Joint Venture of Enterprises (TJVE): consortia and individual, commercial or handicrafts undertakings that have joined together and that have conferred a special collective mandate with the power of representation of one of its members, designated as the group leader, who submits bids on behalf of itself and the companies conferring the mandate upon it;
- Contracts: the works, supply and services bid contracts and sales contracts;
- Computerized Tender: electronic procedure for choosing the contractor (hereinafter “Tender ");
- Acceptance Form: the form, downloadable from the Portal, which, once filled out and sent to XXXX by the Supplier, constitutes adherence to and acceptance of these Rules;
- Qualification process: the evaluation process performed upon the request of an undertaking to determine its fitness to participate in a purchasing tender called by XXXX. The system is geared towards all interested undertakings and guarantees that an up-dated list of Suppliers of determined technical and economic reliability from which participants in future tenders will be drawn will be maintained.

En el caso de la venta de bienes, el “proveedor” hace referencia al comprador.
- Las Partes: Hace referencia a XXXX y al Proveedor de manera conjunta (la “Parte” se refiere a la forma singular)
- Unión Temporal de Empresas (UTE): Consorcios y sociedades mercantiles, o empresas individuales, que se han unido y han otorgado un mandato colectivo especial a uno de sus miembros (designado líder del grupo), para que éste les represente y presente ofertas en su propio nombre y en el de las empresas que le han otorgado dicho mandato;
- Contratos: Contratos licitados de obras, suministros y servicios, así como los contratos de venta;
- Licitación informatizada: Procedimiento electrónico para la elección del contratista (en adelante, “la licitación”);
- Formulación de Aceptación: Formulario que puede ser descargado desde el portal y que, una vez cumplimentado y enviado a XXXX por parte del Proveedor, constituye la adhesión y la aceptación de la presente normativa;
- Proceso de homologación: Proceso de evaluación realizado a petición de una empresa para determinar su idoneidad a la hora de participar en una licitación de compras convocada por XXXX. El sistema está dirigido a todas aquellas empresas interesadas y garantiza que los participantes en futuras licitaciones sean seleccionados de una lista actualizada de Proveedores con una determinada solvencia técnica y económica.
