Thought I would do something different to tell about myself.
Find below what I have written on a leisurely day. Hope you wouldn't mind.

The Tamarind Tree
----------------------
It wasn't quite close to the road but a little inside. As with most such trees, there was a certain calmness about its presence.
As you approached it from the road, you felt welcomed. And when you went under its shade, you felt at home. With curves at the right places, it had an ergonomic trunk upon which you can rest yourself and have an excellent view of the hillock close by.
You could sit there for hours, but the tree would not say a thing.
As you sit and slowly begin savoring your precious solitude there, a pair of owls sitting on one of the branches would make their presence felt by hooting in a low voice. You begin to ponder about the possible meaning of such communication and looking at them, you would come across the play of sunlight with the tree creating a fresh feeling in you.
And then your attention would be drawn to a flock of goats that would descend the hillock, bleating mildly. After finishing their day's grazing, they are now looking for the dessert - ripe tamarind, hanging low and sometimes, lying on the ground. One or two of them would come very close to you, give you brief stares and then go about their business.
In the meanwhile, a breeze from the south side hugs you and the tree. The hillock as a mirror, you would watch the colors of sunset and realize it’s time to go when the sky turns orange. You would stand up, touch the tree with your full palms, take the tree into your heart and then leave.
