English to Macedonian: The Journey of Desire - Searching for the Life We've Only Dreamed of General field: Art/Literary Detailed field: Religion
Source text - English Life is now a battle and a journey. As Eugene Peterson reminds us, "We must fight the forces that oppose our becoming whole, we must find our way through difficult and unfamiliar territory to our true home." It's not that there aren't joy and beauty, love and adventure now - there are. The invasion of the kingdom has begun. But life in its fullness has yet to come. So we must take seriously the care of our hearts. We must watch over our desire with a fierce love and vigilance, as if we were protecting our most precious possession. We must do battle with the enemies of our hearts - those sirens that would seduce and shipwreck our desire and those arrows that aim to kill it outright. And we must journey forward, toward God, toward the Great Restoration and the adventures to come. How aweful to reach the end of life's road and find we haven't brought our hearts along with us.
Translation - Macedonian @ivotot sega pretstavuva i bitka i patuvawe. No, ∞ivotot so svojata polnota doprva treba da dojde.

I am a native Macedonian living in the USA and teaching German to high schools students. I have lived and studied in four countries, including Macedonia, Austria, Germany and the USA. I graduated from the "SS Cyril and Methodius" University in Macedonia with a double major in German and English Language and Literature.
My first translations and proofreading work was done for the publishing needs of the United Methodist Church in my home town. I have translated several books from English and German into Macedonian as well as training materials for ICITAP and Campus Crusade for Christ in Macedonia. I worked as an interpreter for the US Department of State, as part of the ICITAP staff team, mainly doing consecutive interpretations s well as written translations in the area of community policing and NGO's. I have also served as an interpreter for numerous speakers at seminars and workshops organized by Campus Crusade for Christ. Thus my expertise in literature and religion.
My strengths lie in the areas of translation, editing and proofreading in Macedonian, English and German, all of whom I speak on a daily basis. I would be more than happy to provide quality interpretation services over the phone whenever needed.
