What I tried to generate target translation, it shows Error "exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation".
The file I worked on was docx. I tried to convert it into .rtf format and worked it in the studio, but the result was the same.
Anyone encountred this before? Do you have a solution?

The same happened to me! You've probably finished your assignment by now, but perhaps for future jobs.

The helpdesk of SDL helped me.


1) Save your translation. Close it and close TRADOS.
2) Go to the Windows icon and look for the "Install / Uninstall Programs" (or "Change or Remove a Program" in the newest Windows version) option.
3) Look for SDL TRADOS STUDIO 2017 (or your own version number). Click on it.
4) Then click you right mouse button, ... See more

4) Then click you right mouse button, you get 2 options: Uninstall and Repair.
5) Choose Repair.
6) Wait for some minutes until the PC repairs the program and... READY!
