This change works great for me because my daughter happens to have an art audition in New World School of the Arts that same day from 1-4 pm, and that's just a few blocks away.

Closest to MDC seminar - 1.5 blocks, Indonesian food - something exotic, not the usual tired stuff, excellent reviews and price. | |

After conferring with Marcela and Arne it was agreed to choose Bijans Restaurant for our lunch venue. The place is conveniently located by the Miami River, behind the Hyatt Hotel and adjacent to the Immigration Court building and the People-Mover Train “Riverwalk” station. It has ample indoor/outdoor seating space and it received several favorable reviews for its food and service. The manager, Mahnaz is willing to please; she will grant us a $1 off liquor and a progressive discount on beer -no discount on wine, instead she will have some wine specially priced. The address is: 64 S.E. 4th Street - Miami, FL 33131, Telephone: 305-281 7778 (www.bijans.biz)
If you are attending MDC's seminar and parking at MDC's Building # 7 on 5th Street, please leave your car there as we will take a FREE ride on the People-Mover to enjoy the panoramic views on-route. After lunch, you can take the train back to “College” Station, right next to the parking garage.
Those not attending the seminar, please proceed straight to the restaurant where you can meter-park around the place or valet park (not cheap). A better idea would be to park your car at MDC building #7 - 5th street garage for free and take the train to the restaurant. Mention the seminar to the parking attendant.
If you are joining us again for the fiesta in the evening and you do not wish to drive home and back, we will have a place for you to refresh and rest for the rest of the afternoon.
Please let us know if you have any question.
A BIG favor; please confirm your attendance on the right column and state the number of guests. Also, please provide full names of attendees in order to pre-print name badges.
See you on Saturday.
