Someone can lie?

Here I come across a Chinese woman on the website(a paid member in Belgium). She claimed she can translate very well and has tons of experience in Belgium. But I eventually found out everything what she said is a lie. She can lie anything in the CV? Should I reveal her user name, so everyone can avoid her? Otherwise, no trust on this website.

The Forum rule does not allow anyone to reveal the real name of a outsourcer. Jul 3, 2009

Hi, ture

You can use the Blue Board at this site to write about your experience with certain contractor and rate him/her. The Forum rule does not allow anyone to reveal the real name of an outsourcer. By the way, what made you so certain that everything she said is lie? Is your source absolutely reliable and supported by facts? You do not need to answer my questions, but do think about those questions.

Kevin

Hi Kevin,
Thanks for the email. I always think how people can trust each other. In China, we already lost trust, now it spreads .....

As I know, she has done some translations for some individual's application in chinese embassy or belgian government . Actually, she was hired by an individual, not the chinese embassy in Belgium or Belgian government. Can she claim that she has a client: chinese embassy in Belgium? Her husband works as a EU officer, then can she claim she has t

Once lost trust, then forever....

Maybe I should say her CV is not accurate. Jul 4, 2009

Hi lbone,
Thanks for the reply. Maybe I should say her CV is not accurate and her CV is systematically biased and misleading people (If you have a look at her CV, you will find that she looks like a diplomat around EU and NATO in Brussels, ridiculuous...hehe). I am really wondering if a translator can not convey a truely situation in his/her CV, how can he/she do a good translation job?

Maybe you think it is normal in China, But I tell you not HERE ....

ends justify means.
economic benifits justify a lie though such lie does no harm to others?
