Good morning,

I have Trados Studio 2009 and I was working on a project. I updated Flahs Player Java 7 and my computer reset automatically. I have Windows 7 and Office 2010 and I am not able to work in Trados Studio 2009 because it is not responding. I reset my computer and the same issue is happening.

The project is urgent and cannot wait.

What should I do to make Trados Studio 2009 responding, please?

I ignord Java 6 and I updated Java 7.

Is that the point?

Hi Alexandre.

Check via the control panel what versions of Java are currently enabled on your computer then read this recently updated Knowledge Base article on Java installations.

The recommendations concern various issues with Studio 2011 and 2014 but there is this note on 2009:

I have on my computer Java 32 bits' lastest version AND I have Java Runtimme Environement 6 and 7.

I ignored Java Runtimme Environement 6 and I updated Java Runtimme Environement 7 meanwhil I was working on my project. I am trying to stop the task with CTRL + ALT + SUPR or DEL but there is no way to solve the issue.

But are Studio 2014 and and 2009 compatible with Java 8 ?
