Definition / notes:What is Blind Emboss?
Blind Emboss is an embossed paper or vellum that has no printing on it. For example, if the item is "Blind Embossed Yellow Paper," K & Co. uses a yellow card stock and embosses a design on it. The sheet does not go through the printing process, so the only color on the paper is the paper color--in this case, yellow. Another example is a Blind Embossed Pearl Vellum. An embossed design will appear on a heavyweight pearl vellum. "Blind" means that the design is not seen in colors, but you can feel it. Actually, you can see the embossed design, but no printed colors define the design.
