Swedish term

Kompensera sig

Swedish to English Bus/Financial Retail
The context is this, from a report on company economy:

Any opinions on what 'kompensera sig' means in this context?

Thanks!

Thanks for your responses. All good. I think 'pass price rises on' is probably the most self-explanatory, which fits my needs best in this case.

A little more context. The text continues:

The discussion relates to the effect of increasing commodity prices.

Compensate

Here they say they have had increased costs but have not been able to balance these increased expenditures by raising prices for customers ie. they will have to increase the prices to the customers to compensate for or balance their own increased costs. Well that is the meaning anyway.
