Spanish term

Fuelle

Spanish to English Marketing Textiles / Clothing / Fashion Clothing
This is part of a product description for some trousers - I can find "fuelle" online but only in reference to pockets (and I can't see a good English translation for that, either). In this case it refers to taking the trousers off.

The full sentence is: Pantalón largo perchado con estilo pitillo y aberturas en el bajo con cremallera y fuelle para quitar y poner la prenda con facilidad.

Inverted pleat

Made-to-measure curtains with an inverted pleat heading are suitable for use on tracks or poles. Also known as backwards-facing pleats, inverted pleated curtains are suitable for windows where there is minimal wall space to ‘stack’ the opened curtains.

agree philgoddard : Sounds like it's been translated already. http://www.wordreference.com/es/en/translation.asp?spen=fuel...

It hadn't occurred to me to look.
agree Janice Giffin : I believe 'inverted' and 'reverse' pleats are the same, whereas 'forward' pleats are slightly different.

Yes, there are different types of pleat. Thank you, Janice :-)
agree neilmac : You should post "inverted pleat" as a solution :-)

It would be a solution, though I can't see a pleat in the photo in my link. I have a feeling that it's extra fabric that gets tucked away when the zip is closed. Not an opening as such.
