If the architecture is apple-compatible (possible, but unlikely), then you can refer to a computer as a "cpu". Not otherwise. This is an observation based on use in the US, not on dictionary definitions.

Tedious note: "clone" was a common name (eighties) for a computer running MS-DOS that was not made by one of the then-expensive brands such as IBM, Compaq, etc. It has largely fallen out of use.
