Hydrogeological setting
The Jilh formation is exposed at Jilh alÕIshar (latitude 24° 400 N and longitude 45° 200 E), with a low escarpment across which the type section was measured (Fig. 1a). The Jilh type section was described on a nearly straight line traverse from a latitude of 24° 0304800 N and a lon- gitude of 45° 460 E to a latitude of 24° 1100600 N and a longitudeof45°5103000 E.
