Has anyone perhaps ever seen this word used? I would be grateful for quotes.... I can think of a way or two to translate the sentence it is in, but I was wondering if it had already been used by one of us here...
It is most definitely an interesting word.

@Michael: Simple to translate, maybe - but the idea that it is possible to encompass a life within the written word is not so simple. The concept, as you said, is very interesting.

: Yes, it is simple. It's also such a statement of the obvious that I'd be tempted to leave it out - the previous sentence gives us all the information we need.
