neutral Alexander Schleber (X) : I agree with Henk. "transparant" is French, even though it can be found on Google. "transparency" for instance cannot be found.

"transparant" is Dutch as well. :-) (this explains the spelling error). "transparant" has 4 meanings in Dutch (see van Dale), one of them: gemakkelijk te doorzien, helder van structuur, opzet. Btw, you should put on your Google glasses.

Thank you, Maria. If you would hear me saying "transparant" or "transparent" in English, no way you could tell the difference, in spoken English both spellings are fully accepted. :-)
