From what I can find it appears to be a cheaper alternative to traditional long-term care insurance, but I can't find a specific name for it. Unfortunately I can't give any more context because it's just a category on a table of how much was sold in a year.

長照保險 = Long-Term Care Insurance. The Chinese term is widely used in Taiwan. And the English translation can be found in many documents:

I could not find any standard English translation for 類長照保險 and I think we may use "Quasi Long-Term Care Insurance", or "LTC-like Insurance" as "LTC" is a commonly used abbreviation for Long-Term Care

However, some insurance carriers classify 「有定期扶助金的特定傷病險」only as 「類長照」. In other words, they exclude 「殘扶險」in their classification of 「類長照險」.
「類長照險」has nothing to do with long-term care policies.
