因为不知道原文所说的“转型”是指什么，所以三家公司的寿险模式发生什么变化不得而知。如果是变成处理多元化保险产品的中间商的话，那可以考虑用aggregator(1)，反而如果只是扩大业务量而已，还是说业务更清楚了(2)：
(1)... helped them develop into medium-sized life insurance aggregators, handling over a million RMB every year in life insurance.
(2)... helped them grow their life insurance business from less than 200,000 per year to over 1 million, becoming medium-sized players in the market.

: Agree with (2)，讲的就是公司的规模，由小型变成了中型。需要把两组数字指的是PREMIUM这层含义加上去。

: If not for jyuan_us's two comments, I actually didn't want to comment. Yes, (2) is quite close, but it doesn't mention what the figures refer to, leaving it to the reader's common sense to guess that it refers to annual turnover (I suppose). Just my 2 cts

As I responded to jyuan_us below, one of the factors influencing business size classification is sales volume. The size of insurance plans is determined based on premium size. Insurance plan size, in turn, affects sales volume.

Oh yes, please replace 'insurance plans' with 'life insurance plans' or 'life insurance policies'. I missed out the part that it is 壽險 (life insurance).
This is my interpretation:
