I am starting to introduce the different aspects of my personality; gradually I will upload all the information about myself. I start from Music;

Music:

I am a student of the Classical Music of Sub-Continent. I have learned Tabla (Indian beat instrument), Harmonium and Taan Pura up to the initial levels. I have learned tabla from Ustad Aijaz Hussain (Jajji) the versatile Tabla player of Rawalpindi. My Harmonium teachers were, Rashid Shamsi, Mushtaq Hussain Taari (Ummi) from Rawalpindi. I learnt Taan pura from Ustaad Aagha Dilawar Ali of Gujranwala. I also practiced some vocal Ghazal singing under the supervision of Ustaad Aagha Dilawar Ali and Rashid Shamsi.

Besides this minor experience in the practical music, I contributed a lot of articles about the Classical and Semi Classical Music of Sub-continents. In my music library there is a wide and versatile collection of the Classical, Semi Classical, instrumental and vocal music. Besides I have one of the best and rarest collections of the rich, versatile and most indigenous and authentic Punjabi Music, geatherd over the period of quarter century. I have also a wide range of Collection of different Musical Schools (Gharanas) of Sub-Continent Singing, e.g. Delhi School, Agra School, Shayam Courasi School, Talwandi School, Qasur School, Qawwal Bachon Ka School, Patiala School, Banaras School etc.
Muslim, Hindi and Sikh mystical musical values inspires my innerself and I have a wide range of the variety of Muslim Devotional (Qawwali and Kafi), Sikh Devotional (Shabd keertan, Shalooks) and Hindu Devotional (Bhajans, Bhagti Music)etc.

However I am familiar with most of the photographical techniques and member of professional photographer’s community at their website; www.photo.net. You may visit my tiny gallery by clicking at this link; http://www.photo.net/photodb/folder?folder_id=465228

I have an impressive collection of more than a dozen Photographical Instruments starting from simplest and antique 110 mm Cameras to Interchangeable lenses’ 35 mm SLR, TLR, and most modern and Interchangeable lenses' Digital and Movie cameras.
I have also a wide range of other optical instruments like binoculars and telescopes for bird watching and star gazing.

Publications:

I have been writing poetry, prose and articles since my childhood. My first collection of Urdu Poetry “Guzar Gah e Khayaal” (The Passage of Thought) has been published from Pakistan in 2001. This is actually a selection of my Urdu, Punjabi and Hindi poetry, written over last two decades, this includes Ghazals, Azad Nazms, Kafis and Bhajans

My second book of Urdu Prose “Culture Kahani” (The Story of Culture) was published from Pakistan in December 2005. This is the selection of articles about the Cultural heritage of Pakistan. These articles have published in Urdu Newspaper “Sada e Pakistan” published from New York and Islamabad.

My third book, in fact the first one in Punjabi “Ik Nuktay Vich” (In a Small Dot) is under publication from Pakistan. This book contains my articles about Classical Punjabi poets and Poetry.
