Bio
Since I was a little girl I have always been fascinated by foreign languages and wanted to learn as many as I could. I grew up in Israel and in the United States and my Hebrew and English are mother tongue level.
I have a BA in English Literature and an MA in Literature from Tel Aviv University (Cum Laude) and I have been a writer and a translator for over a decade and an editor for almost a decade. I specialize in translation and localization of technical, marketing, academic and pop-culture projects.
I have 20 years of experience translating websites, articles and films. I also specialize in copywriting, technical and marketing writing in English (US) and Hebrew. Among my clients: Sonova Hearing Solutions (Eng‣Heb), Almi Group (Heb‣Eng), TransPerfect (EngóHeb), Halevi Gallery (Heb‣Eng), Israelevitz Architects (EngóHeb).
I have vast knowledge and writing experience in all aspects of pop culture. I keep a blog, Tzofot Club, (Tzofot is Hebrew for "women who watch"), which focuses on a woman's perspective of pop culture, including music, television and film. I have been getting amazing feedback from my readers (men and women). Link to my blog (in Hebrew): https://tzofot.wordpress.com/.
In the past I worked as a Teaching Assistant and tutor at the College of Management Academic Studies: School of Media Studies, where my job included giving lectures on television, gender and culture, women’s representation in the media and children’s TV.
